Welcome to Aledo, Rhubarb Capital of Illinois!
This unique festival, which is 19 years old and growing strong, will feature more than 2,000 homemade Rhubarb Pies for sale, Rhubarb Sampling, 12,000 free Rhubarb seeds given away, crafts, music, entertainment and more all set in our historic downtown. We're so serious about our Rhubarb that Governor Pat Quinn officially named Aledo the Rhubarb Capital of Illinois!

2010 Craft Vendor's Form

The historic Mercer County Courthouse with over 100 quality craft vendors set up in the courtyard.			Visitors sample everything from Pie to wine at the "The Tasting" under the Big Blue Tent in Central Park.
Mouth watering Rhubarb treats and goodies were offered at various bakes sales in Central Park.			Three hundred rubber duckies float in the Central Park fountain. Four lucky ducks were drawn to select the winners of the Main Street Adopt a Duck contest.
Shoppers enjoy the special Rhubarb Fest sales offered by Main Street businesses.			Sheridan Hank inspects the Rhubarb leaves submitted for the Biggest Leaf Contest.
